Install the plugin in one of the following ways: 2. * Upload the `custom-base-terms` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory via FTP. * Upload the full ZIP file via _Plugins -> Add New -> Upload_ in the WordPress administration panel. * Search for **Custom Base Terms** in _Plugins -> Add New_ and click _Install Now_. 3. Activate the plugin through the _Plugins_ menu in the WordPress administration panel. 4. Configure the plugin with the _Settings_ link on the plugins page or in _Settings- > Permalinks_. 5. Click the _Settings_ link, or go to _Settings -> Permalinks_, and enter the custom URL structures for the author, search, comments, pagination and feed pages. ### What happens if I leave a field empty? The base goes back to the one WordPress uses by default for that term. ### Do I need to flush the permalinks after changing a base?
